Parker Ray is a Learning & Development leader with more than a decade of experience delivering workforce training solutions in mining, industrial, and technical sectors. His career spans program management, instructional design, and the integration of advanced learning technologies to equip workforces with the skills needed for safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
With an MBA from Royal Roads University, Parker brings a strategic perspective to training that aligns learning outcomes with organizational performance goals. He has played a key role in implementing large-scale education programs for industrial environments, specializing in competency frameworks, risk management, digital learning transformation, and the deployment of Learning Management Systems (LMS) to streamline delivery and track compliance.
As General Manager for the Physical Asset Management division at Metso, Parker oversaw global education programs supporting mining and industrial clients, managing logistics, facilitator onboarding, and competency-based training development. Additionally, as VP Learning Solutions at Dynacor Learning (a leader in Occupational Health and Safety training in the industrial sector), Parker was responsible for every aspect of the learning and development. And as Chief Operating Officer of Global Physical Asset Management, Parker ensured his team was at the cutting edge of innovation and compliance when it came to risk management, particularly in the mining and Non-Destructive Testing sectors. His earlier work with Hellier NDT and Acuren Inspections focused on modernizing technical training delivery, building blended learning programs, and supporting industry certifications to meet strict regulatory and operational requirements.
